Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks Name Noah Baughman Head Coach
Columbia, TN — The Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks are proud to announce Noah Baughman as the organization’s first-ever Head Coach, bringing a strong coaching background, national-level experience, and deep ties to Middle Tennessee to the franchise.
Baughman, a native of Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, returns home to lead the Jumpin’ Jacks after building an impressive coaching résumé at multiple levels of collegiate baseball. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, he currently serves as an assistant coach at Gadsden State Community College and has previously held roles at Bryan College and the University of West Alabama, where he helped lead the program to a conference championship last season. His summer coaching experience includes time in both the NECBL and the Prospect League, working with elite talent from across the country.
“This opportunity means everything to me,” said Baughman. “Being able to come back home, be a part of this community, and lead this organization is incredibly special. It’s a true honor to serve as the first-ever head coach of the Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks, and I’m committed to building something the community can be proud of.”
As the Jumpin’ Jacks prepare for their inaugural season, Baughman emphasized a balanced vision of success centered on both competition and development. “Wins are important—we’re building this team with the goal of bringing a championship to Columbia,” he said. “But true success will come through the development of our players and helping them grow as both athletes and individuals.”
For Baughman, the opportunity is about more than just baseball—it’s about connection. “What excites me most are the relationships we’ll build with our players, staff, and the community,” he said. “Being able to come back home and serve the place that helped shape me makes this even more meaningful.”
Beyond the field, Baughman is focused on establishing a program that becomes a cornerstone of the Columbia community. “I want this team to be about more than just baseball,” he said. “We want to become a staple in the community, a team kids grow up dreaming of playing for and one that people are proud to support. If we lead the right way and make a positive impact off the field, the success on the field will follow.”
The Jumpin’ Jacks are also committed to creating a memorable experience for fans throughout the summer. “We want to build an environment where people truly enjoy coming to the ballpark,” Baughman added. “By putting a quality product on the field and creating an experience that brings the community together, we believe this can be something special.”
With his combination of coaching experience, player development focus, and strong local roots, Baughman is poised to lead the Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks into an exciting inaugural season.
The Jumpin’ Jacks look forward to welcoming fans to the ballpark this summer as they begin building a program rooted in excellence, development, and community pride.
