Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks Name Maverick James as General Manager
Columbia, TN – The Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks are proud to announce Maverick James as the team’s new General Manager. James, a native of Columbia and Muletown, brings a lifelong passion for baseball and strong local roots to the organization as it prepares for its inaugural season.
“I’m thrilled to bring a college baseball summer league to the Volunteer State, and especially excited for it to come to Muletown, where our community loves the game,” said James. “It’s incredible to offer a competitive summer attraction right here at home, without fans having to travel to a minor league stadium.”
James has been involved in baseball since age three and played throughout his youth in Columbia. A graduate of Middle Georgia State University, he has spent the past five years working in engineering, designing automated warehouses. His combination of local knowledge, professional experience, and love for the game positions him to lead the Jumpin’ Jacks successfully.
Fans attending games at Dave Hall Field can expect an entertaining and family-friendly experience. “We want every night at the ballpark to be fun and competitive,” said James. “More importantly, we want to build connections with the community and inspire young players to grow in the game, with the dream of one day playing for the Jacks themselves.”
James was drawn to this opportunity because of the strong support for baseball in Maury County and the abundance of local talent. “Getting to bring local players back home to play in front of their families and neighbors is what makes this so special,” he said.
With James at the helm, the Columbia Jumpin’ Jacks are set to provide an exciting summer destination for fans and a platform for local players to shine.
